The way we move around cities is changing rapidly. More and more people are using small, shareable electric vehicles to commute – yet, the way we charge these electric vehicles is cumbersome, expensive and hinders global adoption. We’ve made it our mission to empower anyone with access to electricity to distribute energy for transport, accelerating our transition to sustainable urban mobility. Founded in 2016 and with offices in London and Athens, we’re a nimble team of engineers, designers and operations experts (from Tesla, Deliveroo and Credit Suisse amongst others) working on some of the most exciting hardware in the city. We’re backed by SOS Ventures and have graduated HAX, the #1 hardware accelerator in the world.
As a Front-end Developer, you will be involved with requirements analysis, planning, technical design, configuration, development and testing of the mobile app and front-end web elements of Pushme’s technology stack. You will be able to contribute across the stack and take ownership and pride in what you create, minimising risk by integrating early, iterating on software and using early user-focused feedback.
You will be part of our Athens, GR based software team and will work alongside hardware engineers and the business team to define, analyse and refine our software products’ scope, using your design understanding in combination with your developer skills to implement user-centric, cutting-edge UI/UX.

REQUIREMENTS
TECHNICAL
- BSc or MSc in Engineering, CS or related field
- Strong JavaScript skills
- Experience with React – unless you have significant Javascript experience with other libraries
- Experience with popular React tooling (preferably Redux)
- Comfortable with designing and using RESTful APIs
- Passion about complex, interactive applications with a thoughtful UX/UI

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Desire to do the impossible with a positive and professional “never say die” attitude
- Ability to critically analyse design and architecture decisions, optimising for time to market
